This barrel rest is made from two pieces of premium 7oz. leather that are glued and stitched together. The edges are burnished and waxed, then it receives a neatsfoot oil finish and is sealed with Ray Holes' Saddle Butter.
I ordered the first 3 of these. Very simple idea that works great with any choke or shoes. Plus its easy to stow away win finished.

Great accessory for protecting expensive choke tubes
I use Muller Chile tubes which are non-metallic so this is a great accessory to help protect them. The lead is about 60" long so I can position the pad anywhere I like and when it's time to change stations it is simple to retrieve.
