These barrel protectors are designed to cradle your barrel for protection against the rough conditions that some club gun racks can bring. 

The Slim Barrel Protector is made from two 4oz pieces of premium veg-tanned leather. The two pieces are glued and stitched together with a strong magnet sandwiched in between. The edges are burnished and waxed, then it receives a Fiebing's Neatsfoot Oil finish and is sealed with Ray Holes' Saddle Butter.

Just what I wanted

I see these occasionally and each time I find myself wanting one. I finally pulled the trigger, and I am pleased with them. I do wish different colors and some personalization was available (e.g. initials like others) but that doesn't affect the functionality or quality of the item at all. I did make the mistake of putting it near my barrel cloth and it left some spots of oil/grease from that. I'm sure that will become less noticeable as I handle it. Just be aware of that.

Best barrel protection

This is the best investment for your shotgun! Ive used this several times and it works perfect. Top quality leather, top quality craftsmanship. I plan on buying more for Christmas gifts for my friends.
